Francisco Liriano.

I might be wrong here but I am pretty sure that Francisco Liriano, when starting on Tuesdays in 2011, only throws no-hitters.

Sorry for the shortness of this preview but I am going to be spending most of the week in Rochester this week. I will come back with scouting reports on Ray Chang, Chase Lambin, and Toby Gardenhire to make up for it.

  1. I am at Camden Yards! JJ Hardy is 50 feet away! I caught a ball during BP!

    1. Is JJ off the DL? Did you catch the ball on the fly? Sounds fun. Still easy to get cheap tix there?

      1. JJ is in the lineup. My ticket wasn't so cheap, but not awful for how good it is. I got it on like 6 bounces.

  2. I can't remember if I've said it here or only out loud, but is there a worse prize than sitting in the booth and being forced to remain silent?

  3. Tomorrow AM, I take off for the nothlands, so it will be easy to not worry about this game.

  4. bert suggested a "sacrifice fly" by martinez to get the twins off the field.

    1. Depends on his confidence in the slider today. Sounds like he lacked faith. Which is Disturbing.

  5. I think with a hit on the board for the Twins, it's time for me to head home.

Roasted potatoes and carrots, sauteed sugar snap peas, leftover pulled pork, salad, SN Glissade.

      1. Breakfast for dinner! Crêpes with fresh sliced banana & strawberries, sausages (from a certain local producer of meat products) and southern style potatoes. Washed down with a big glass of iced tea - hit 88 degrees in St. Paul today!

  6. I don't think my undefeated game log streak is going to continue.

  7. Good god. Liriano & Duensing pitching like butt. The (ass)bats getting shut down by Rick freaking Porcello. I think I'm about done here.

  8. I tuned in for Liriano and I get Duensing walking in a run...what gives? Eh, no matter, I've a paper to write - the final paper of law school!

  9. Rain delay. Couldn't the Twins have waited just one more inning before having Duensing relieve Liriano?

  10. I just realized the Twins will have a hard time winning this season if they consistently score 0 runs.

  11. w00t. Groundskeeper Alex.

Speaking of the Original Groundskeeper, he has 21:7 K:BB and an 0.77 ERA in 23 1/3 innings in Sacratomato so far this year.

    1. This week doesn't look good. Neither does the next. Maybe Mauer will be back after that.

  12. In good news, Torii Hunter just stole 3rd and scored on a double to make it Sox 1-6 Angels in the bottom of the fifth in Anaheim.

    1. That's about where I started cursing at Gardy and the radio and drank more opened up the second beer.
