  1. IOWA CUBS
Saturday—Cubs 10, Storm Chasers 4 in Des Moines. Ramon Ortiz pitches seven solid innings, giving up only two runs while scattering ten hits. Brian LaHair and Bobby Scales each hit two run homers to lead the Cubs' offense. Augie Ojeda also made an appearance, helping the Cubs by going 2-3 with a run scored. The Storm Chasers were done in by their poor choice of two-tone uniform uniform numbers. Lorenzo Cain looked pretty good in the field, not so much at the plate (0-5). Mike Moustakas struck out with the bases loaded to end the top of the eighth and the Storm Chasers' best threat of the night.

      1. I actually had no idea who any of the pitchers were. I only found out when writing up this and had to see if R. Ortiz was who I thought it was.
