Game 75: Twins at Brewers

Bandage [ban-dij]

1. a strip of cloth or other material used to bind up a wound, sore, sprain, etc.
2. anything used as a band or ligature, such as a strip of packing tape, or an F-Bomb (see image)
Stolen from this site, of course
Time to stop the bleeding, Frankie.

          1. I'm trying to get the sensation of giving 1s out of my system now, because I have a feeling when I really do this I'll have a hard time giving anything lower than a 3.

  1. Why is their pitcher hitting about as well as 3 of the people in our lineup (not counting F-bomb)?

      1. Fox Soccer, as far as I know, which I don't get, so I'm just going to be following netcasts.

  2. Well, it's time for me to go do ANYTHING ELSE. So long, suckers. It's been less fun than usual.

  3. dear lord, that was simply wretched. might be on his feet still if he took anything resembling the correct route.

    1. Trainer: tell me where it hurts Delmon

Delmon: I jammed my foot into the base of the wall and twisted my... Hey...cool cart! Can I ride in it?

  4. Well, this injury delay gave cheaptoy plenty of time to explain his _elm_n shirt to the Miller Park faithful.

  5. Howdy!
[catches up on what's happened on the game so far.]
I feel like giving up on the season again.
    Well, goodnight all!

    1. One thing I just noticed:
Doo-MAH-tré nearly doubled his ERA tonight:
      Coming in, 2.89
      Now: 5.59.
I hope this means that Chuck James can be recalled now.
(Two more outs since I started writing: now 5.23.)

      1. It's 2-2 now by the way. Cherundolo going down and out (and Bornstein having gone in) is killing us.

      1. Doubt it. Getting to the Gold Cup final should keep his job secure through the next World Cup cycle unless the qualifying starts going terribly.

  6. on the bright side, I missed this game.

jazz workshop at American River College today. nice concert at the end for the parents. the Boy had a nice solo. The Girl seemed a little overwhelmed by it all.

  7. Sorry, guys. I was going to join the game log last night, but I passed out at the sight of all that blood.
