  1. Just noticed Delmon Young was left off the Tigers' roster. Definitely rooting for Rangers now.

  2. i randomly came across this again on the interwebs tonight. i'll put it here because, one, mr. buck is calling a great game as usual, and two, how did MLB allow this to be embedded?

        1. I missed that when it happened, but the Columbus TV guys are beside themselves (saying it was a "two-handed swing" and calling for a suspension). Russo says it was a self-inflicted high stick by the CBJ player.

          1. Russo is right but it looked really bad. I think that just as the Jacket player went to lift his stick PMB tried to chop straight down on his stick, which made PMB's stick launch right into the other guy's face. Bouchard immediately dropped his stick on the ice. It was an accident but the result was a 90 degree swing into the mouth. Not pretty.

            1. Based on his history, game and reaction, I'd vote total accident. But he looked like McCracken for half a second.

      1. and for those of you less fortunate souls who've never made it to the ballpark @ the rangers, be happy that you haven't. Monstrosity, that. (a roof couldn't be constructed even if you had Jerry Jones' checkbook)

        1. Huskers were outgained something like 237-132 in the first half, but that reverses to about 337 to 112 in the second half in the Huskers' favor. Biggest comeback in school history.

          1. I'm bummed. Didn't know the game was being broadcast out here on ABC (was out with the Mrs. last night, on a Date!!!!111one111!!!) and missed all but the Victory Formation at the end.

  3. For a one-run game in the top of the ninth, that was as unsuspenseful as possible with Feliz blowing away every Tiger.
