  1. It was very ugly. The Wolves do not take care of the ball. They shot terribly. And they did not dwfend. Other than that, cool.

  2. One restless kitty makes for three restless Boston Terriers, which makes for a very early start to a Saturday morning.

      1. I played poker with the family. Fifteen minute blinds. We were at 5,000/10,000 and we still had four people left four hours later. And then I lost. So yeah, 5.5 hours of sleep and no money.

              1. I got it, too.

I love when somebody makes a joke, and the next person comes back with a follow-up joke making the first person think the second person missed the first joke.

                No joke.

      1. I saw one of those last year.
There has been a stray cat roaming around the neighborhood and I think it has scared all the birds away. Even the juncos.

      2. We see those at my mom's place in Brainerd all the time, and we used to have one or two in the neighborhood that did serious damage to my neighbor's wood siding. A few years ago we saw a marten climb up one of the trees to try to get at the suet.

  3. After hearing all you guys rave about the Wolves this year, I actually watched the game last night. Probably not the best choice for a debut, but I can see what all the excitement is about Love and Rubio now.

  4. Up at 4:30 this morning for a rasslin' tournament. 1-1 so far. Unfortunate loss in first round to a tough kid. Pinned his second kid in about 45 seconds.

      1. Ribs are a tough injury for a wrestler. Good on him to try and gut it out, but it sounds like he might be better off shutting it down for a year.

        1. well, he's a senior. There is no next year. But his mother would agree with you.

Last year was largely lost to a separated shoulder.

  5. The first President Bush appeared to be dressed as a figure skater when they showed him at the Texans game.

  6. with all these chances the Wild have to score, they are going to end up losing 1-0 on a softie goal #needagoalscorer

  7. a nice touch in Houston today:

former Oilers coach Bum Phillips, who wore his trademark cowboy hat, a black shirt and blue jeans....led the Texans out of their tunnel and tipped his hat to the cheering fans.

shades of Mark Cuban with former Mavs owner Donald Carter.
