Utah @ Target Center 7:oopm

This is the last game before the All Star break. Pek! will try to make it a go with a bum ankle, but how far down is Anthony Randolph in the doghouse? from the Stribs Jerry Zgoda

Jerry Zgoda @JerryZgoda
Expect Pekovic to give it a go and start tonight. Randolph and Lee are the inactives tonight vs. Jazz

Randolph's last game was Feb 2 when he played 12 minutes and scored 8 points

  1. Ugh, Wes Johnson is just the worst. Despite all the excitement surrounding him, he harms my will to watch basketball.

    1. I haven't been paying super close attention, but I assume the answer to that is "Wes Johnson is pooping on Dr. Naismith's face."

  2. thank goodness the Wolves are making free throws. They would be totally blown out of the water

  3. That was another not good first quarter. Good thing I have a game of werewolf distracting me.

  4. Minnesota-Michigan St is on the Big Ten Network right now. Tubby Smith sporting a sharp blue bow tie

  5. Wes Johnson hit a three, then a couple possessions late drove the basket and made it! what?!

  6. I love T-Wolves third quarters. I wish they played the whole game the way they do after getting back out of the locker room.

  7. Adelman does not play favorites. Take care of business and you get to stay on the court.

Great to see Williams come alive.

        1. agreed. as dick moves go, that was semi-minor. at the very least, coming from someone like j.j., it's not like you can call it intimidating or anything.

      1. dido. at the very least, if the games within 5ish points or so, i can deal with it, but when teams are down by 10 with โ‰ค:30, oh, it annoys me.

        1. The NBA seems to have gotten better at letting games end if they're out of reach. If it's more than 6 points with thirty seconds left, I haven't seen nearly as much fouling as I remember from ten years ago.

  8. Gophers were up on #6 Michigan St. by 9 most of the 2nd period, but now only a 2 pt lead. eek

    1. The shot was from a weird angle when I saw it. I thought Luke had passed it to the corner. Then the ball went in. It was awesome.

          1. Yeah, they did the replay from the behind angle and there you could see it better. The side court angle was pretty weird though.

    2. where on earth would a pop ad come from when you were watching the game on nba.tv? ๐Ÿ˜‰

(yeah, thankfully i didn't get the same ad)

  9. as much as that was an awesome win for the locals, that is a turrrrrrrrble loss by the Jazz. Wolves scored 36 (!!!) in the fourth. They were up 16 at the 9:36 mark (83-67).

  10. You know what I like? The difference between the coach's post game presser as opposed to last year's clown show.

    1. its been said a million times, but its nice to have a coach whos head is in the game from start to finish.

    2. The saddest part for me is that I liked Rambis when he was playing. Now, I can't listen to him talk without repeating "Idiot!" over and over in my head.

    1. It would be neat to do one during the All-Star game, or some All-Star festivity. I think that would be 3 AM for Mags though, so that's not happening.

      1. I would LOVE to do one during any point of all star weekend, the skills competition, the game, anything like that. That would be super fun.

  11. I am watching the Clip/Denver game and the LAC broadcaster just said with amazement "not a bad play there by Corey Brewer".

  12. Pek was kind of quiet tonight (save for a spurt to start the 3rd) but still had 15/12 and 8 offensive boards. what a beast.
