Twins affiliates go 3-1 on the road.  The Snappers play Twins baseball.  Miguel Sano hits his fourth home run.

LEHIGH VALLEY 3, ROCHESTER 1 IN LEHIGH VALLEY

Batting starMatt Carson was 2-for-4 with a double.

Pitching starJeff Manship worked two shutout innings of relief, giving up a hit and a walk.

Opposition stars:  Domonic Brown was 2-for-4 with a double.  Phillippe Aumont struck out four in two perfect innings of relief.

Key inning:  The fourth.  Trailing 3-1, the Red Wings loaded the bases with one out.  Brian Dozier lined out and Tsuyoshi Nishioka grounded out to end the inning.  Rochester did not get a runner past first the rest of the game.

NEW BRITAIN 3, NEW HAMPSHIRE 0 IN NEW HAMPSHIRE

Batting starsPedro Florimon was 2-for-3 with a walk.  Evan Bigley was 2-for-4.  Chris Herrmann hit a home run.

Pitching starLuke French pitched seven shutout innings, giving up two hits and three walks.

Opposition stars:  John Tolisano had two hits.  Danny Farquhar struck out four in two shutout innings.

Key inning:  The second.  In a scoreless tie, the Fisher Cats got back-to-back walks with one out.  Johnathan Diaz lined to Chris Colabello for an unassisted double play.  New Hampshire never threatened again.

FORT MYERS 11, JUPITER 6 IN JUPITER

Batting starsDaniel Rohlfing was 3-for-5.  Josmil Pinto was 2-for-4 with two doubles.

Pitching starJhon Garcia struck out three in three innings, giving up a run on three hits.

Opposition stars:  Noah Perio was 4-for-5 with a triple.  Marcell Ozuna drove in three.  Michael Ojala struck out three in two shutout innings.

Key inning:  The fourth.  Tied 3-3, the Miracle put up seven runs.  They had five singles, a double, three walks, and a hit batsman.

BELOIT 5, CLINTON 2 IN CLINTON

Batting starsJonathan Goncalves was 2-for-5.  Miguel Sano hit his fourth home run of the season.

Pitching starMichael Tonkin worked 3.1 perfect innings, striking out three.

Opposition star:  Stephen Kohlsheen struck out eight in four shutout innings.

Key inning:  The first.  Beloit took a 2-0 lead without getting a hit.  An error, a walk, a balk, and two ground outs gave the Snappers a lead they never relinquished.
