Covering Slick Rick, Live on French TV, 1998. Coarse but Broadcast-TV-Safe lyrics.
Too many star-grabs in a row; this manic cover should stop that pattern.
Within two years, he was on like his fourth new female vocalist, and I quickly lost interest.

I couldn't find a live version of his cover of Rick's "Children's Story", which is one of those raps that I still have memorized. There's a cassette tape in my basement that has my cover of it on it. I had made a beat (which James Brown's lawyers would have stopped, but Iannis Xenakis's lawyers would have probably ignored), and that was the only rap I had in my mind (besides Ice-T's "Midnight"), so I recorded, for the only time of which I am aware, AMR rapping, just so I could hear my beat with some lyrics over it. Very heavy delay effects on my rap, and I even mimicked Rick's falsetto intro and outro as his nephew.
