  1. the FOX college football game gave everyone a reminder that Joe Buck returns to playoff action tomorrow as the NLCS is on FOX.

    OH BOY

  2. So, Cano gets. "bypass" for sucking, but Arod gets pinch-hit for, benches, and moved down in the order? Ooookay.

  3. For the third time, Postseason.tv simply will not load. Just spinning circles forever, pretending to load. This service is an enormous pile of shit. I don't mind the "alternate coverage" and the quad view totally works for me (I think I like it more than normal broadcasts, even) but if it's going to work about half the time, I shouldn't be paying for it.

  4. Yankees already on their second time through the lineup, and its only the 2nd inning. Thats not a recipe for success

  5. I think Cano was safe. But still, shouldnt be slamming ones helmet in disgust in front of the ump

  6. Andy Pettitte's ability to neutralize the running game with his pick off (balk) move is not underrated.

  7. Dick Bremer ‏@dbremer_pxp
First "Carl Ripken Jr.", now "Willie Mayes"...the TUBS graphics department is gaving a great postseason!

    1. It hit in fair territory on the first bounce and was over fair territory when it passed first base, therefore it's fair. It didn't matter its second bounce was in foul territory.

      1. yeah, saw that on the replay
at first, I thought it was right of first as it was crossing over

    1. speaking of Yankee fans, I guess they didnt sell out this game. I guess there are sections of RF that are empty

  8. What? Young the franchise leader in postseason home runs? I suppose that makes some sense since the Tigers haven't been in the postseason much and over half of the times was pre-divisions.

  9. I have generally enjoyed the coverage on TBS, but the last two inning fixated on Alex Rodriguez is too much

    1. I was driving home from the in-laws that day and heard that live.
I smiled. That was how I learned to stop worrying and love the Vikings' bombing.

  10. Nothing like having your starter and 2 relievers go out there and no-hit the opposition for 8, just to have your closer blow it all up.

      1. That probably will be what is said about him despite his BA and OBP being worse in the postseason. Basically he's been lucky with a few home runs in a SSS of playoff games.

  11. I flipped the TV on for the ninth to check the score, saw the four Yanks scores, and had nightmares of Dancy's grab-the-front-of-the-cap,grab-the-back-of-the-cap,repeat-several-times routine all night.
