Players of the Week

This is for the week ended July 7.  Yes, I know that was a few days ago, but I'm just getting to it now.  Feel free to skip it if you like.

Rochester:  Chris Colabello was 6-for-22 with a double, two home runs, and seven walks.  For the season, he is hitting .353/.433/.644 in 292 at-bats.

New Britain:  Eddie Rosario was 10-for-24 with three doubles, a triple, a home run, and three walks.  In New Britain, he is hitting .284/.357/.432 in 88 at-bats.  Tom Stuifbergen was 1-0, 1.46, 0.89 WHIP with seven strikeouts in 12.1 innings.  In New Britain, he is 3-1, 6.37, 1.38 WHIP with 20 strikeouts in 29.2 innings.

Fort Myers:  Mike Kvasnicka was 8-for-19 with three doubles, a triple, and two home runs.  For the season, he is hitting .313/.378/.650 in 80 at-bats.  Levi Michael was 9-for-20 with a double, a triple, and a home run.  For the season, he is hitting .261/.332/.400 in 180 at-bats.

Cedar Rapids:  J. D. Williams was 9-for-26 with a double, a triple, a home run, and three walks.  For the season, he is hitting .289/.401/.471 in 242 at-bats.  Max Kepler was 10-for-29 with a double, a triple, and a home run.  For the season, he is hitting .304/.377/.551 in 69 at-bats.

Elizabethton:  Kelvin Ortiz was 7-for-16 with a double.  For the season, he is hitting .359/.395/.436 in 39 at-bats.

GCL Twins:  Brian Navarreto was 5-for-10 with two doubles and a home run.  For the season, he is hitting .308/.419/.500 in 26 at-bats.

DSL Twins:  Frank Encarnacion was 12-for-26 with five doubles, a triple, a home run, five walks, and two stolen bases.  For the season, he is hitting .382/.488/.706 in 34 at-bats.  Rafael P. Valera was 11-for-28 with a triple, two walks, and two stolen bases.  For the season, he is hitting .293/.429/.354 in 82 at-bats.
