  1. I wake up to see Peyton Manning threw 7 touchdowns and and my WR Eric Decker was pretty much shut out. sweet

        1. I was there. It was glorious. I had an aisle seat with K-state season ticket holders several feet to my left. The methodical deflation of their spirits was as visible as the sun at noon. By the time we entered the redzone on that final drive the non-students were sitting on their hands and simply preparing for what looked like inevitability. There was a tremendous amount of bewilderment postgame as we walked through the big tailgate lots.

I have a feeling that we'll get raided again by big programs on the coaching front.

          1. The Huskers, for example, hired the wrong former defensive coordinator a few years ago. We were down in Omaha for Thanksgiving in 2007 when Callahan got fired. My cousin, who is very tapped into the football grapevines, told me that weekend that Dr. Tom wanted to hire Bohl but the Boosters wanted to hire Pelini.

              1. Fortunately I think Kill gets at least one more year, possibly missing out on the last opportunity at Bohl.

    1. I went up against Peyton and Demaryious Thomas in one league. I'm losing 77.9 to 0 right now!

      1. I'm pretty sure Buffalo wins "luckiest last minute free agent pick up" by getting Julius Thomas in the 11th hour.

    1. I can't believe a major league baseball player is actually stupid enough to use something like that. How do you not know that, that will bring you all kinds of intense scrutiny and criticism. At the very least, he should have used a Seinfeld "not that there's anything wrong with that" disclaimer for his insensitive disclaimer.

  2. I get to take in tonight's Twins game from a suite. It's good to be married to someone who can twist someone else's arm to get us access!

  3. Hey let's play some baseball CSI. This pic popped up on @randball's account. He say's it from 1995.

Ozzie Guillen avoiding the sliding Scott Stahoviak

(EDITED for those that have SSL issues -hj)

      1. This looks promising. From May 8th, top2.

        S. Stahoviak Single to RF (Ground Ball thru 2B-1B); Munoz to 2B
        J. Clark Ground Ball Double Play: P-SS (Ozzie at SS in this game)-1B (P's Left)

    1. You can see on Ozzie's right arm this patch worn in 1995 to commemorate the 95th anniversary of the WSox, so @randball is right on that one.

    1. sadly, not much of a football game. The home side got trounced, and the game lasted roughly 86 hours, with about 300 penalties called.
