    1. That's just the site telling you where you should go rather than just letting you go wherever you want.

    2. Does every link have the page end up in the same location?

Edit: Also, do you get the comment edit plugin for every comment? That is, not the gray edit link in the comment metadata but the one above the Reply link?

      1. If I click any link to a comment in the sidebar, the site loads at that comment, then quickly jumps back up to the YT vid.

I have both ''Edit" links on all comments.

        1. Huh.

Trying it in Chrome I can't reproduce that behavior, but it did jump to the YouTube video the first load. That doesn't happen in Firefox.

I'll let you know after I've clicked every link. sheesh, typical helpdesk

        😛

        btw, I am using Chrome

      1. Not happening now at home on FF. Was happening at work on FF yesterday (and on my phone? can't recall for sure)

  1. Can we make BKAC sticky or one of the main six? For people who can't listen same day I can see it getting lost easily.

      1. One of the things I'd intended to talk about in my BKaC was RSS. I don't know how many folks here use it, or don't currently use it but might be interested in what it offers. I'm happy to write a post on RSS as a seed for discussion.

        1. I could probably use RSS for more, I definitely haven't optimized my use of it much.
I just have my Outlook grab some feeds (looks like about 30, but some are dead, like Posnanski at SI.com).
For the WGOM, I typically use them when I'm catching up over an absence.

Given that it's tied to my work e-mail manager, I only use them at work or when logging in from home.
When I use the work loaner laptop, I now make sure that I close my outlook before connecting to the remote connection, or else all of the old entries are duplicated.
Using Outlook, I haven't been able to synchronize home and work utilization of RSS.
I tried Google Reader once and that was not very usable for my purposes. I like having separate folders.

        1. BKaC are much less frequent than videos. Do we want to dedicate that much real estate to something that comes up every (hopefully) few weeks?

            1. i'm thinking that increased exposure of better know a kitizen isn't really his end goal

              What gave you that idea?

          1. I don't mind the videos on the right. They're just a pain on the mobile site, as you have to scroll through all of them to get to recent comments. Other than, the mobile site rocks.

            1. Hmm, this seems like a bug in the widget. In the (phone) mobile view, the content in posts is hidden but the content in the widget isn't. This might be an easy fix.

    1. Left-hitting corner OF/1b/DH types currently on the roster:
      - Mauer
      - Arcia
      - Doumit (a switch hitter, yes, but look a the splits)
      - Parmelee

Right-hitting corner OF/1b/DH types currently on the roster:
      - Willingham
      - Plouffe
      - Colabello

Switch-hitting corner OF/1b/DH types currently on the roster:
      - Vargas

      Consider that market cornered, TR.

      1. There's never any harm in minor league deals with spring invites. If he regains his stroke, it just means more of a bench role for Doumit unless Willingham or Arcia are hurt or struggling. I'm also hoping this means the Twins are thinking more along the lines of a 12-man pitching staff. I think the days of 11-man pitching staffs for the Twins at least are gone.

        1. My point is that if the Twins are allocating 5 or more spots on the 25-man to cOF/1b/DH guys, plus running Plouffe out there at third, they have created a significant roster crunch even before they start carrying 12 or 13 pitchers.

                1. Willingham was doing fine - a .944 OPS through April - before he tried to play through that injury. With luck and all the time to heal, hopefully he'll get back to where he was.

  2. The Cubs have apparently claimed Liam Hendriks off waivers. Good luck to him. Sometimes going somewhere else and getting a fresh start can be the best thing that happens to you.

    1. The last line of that article: "He just did the little things over and over, until they added up to something big."

Any Twins fan knows that it's the little things.

  3. One of the highlights of living in the Greater DC area is getting to see Ovechkin play on a regular basis.

  4. My alarm just woke me in order to start smoking a brisket for festivus. I may have bit off more than the webber can chew. We'll see in 14 hours.
