Birdies @ Wolfies

I realize that the referees are sometimes afraid to make a game-deciding bad call, but I've always said, a bad no-call can just as easily decide the game.  We saw that on Monday when Shawn Marion capped off a career night by using a wily veteran move and grabbing Kevin Love's arm while he's trying to shoot.

At least the league admitted it was a mistake, but if that play happens in the middle of the 2nd quarter, it's a foul 95% of the time.  Refs, like players, shouldn't worry about being clutch.  They should officiate the end of the game like they would any other part of the game.

Anywho, the Wolves play the Pelicans tonight and will win by at least 50.

  1. People need to be ready for Rubio's passes. There have been too many bobbles the last two games.

      1. I wanted to say something, but I was more interested in how long you would have a conversation with yourself.

            1. I probably would have stopped around half time and then started back up near the end of the game. 😛

  2. While a 50 point victory may have been optimistic, this is certainly turning into the game I had hoped it would be.

    1. I thought the 50 point guess was amusing. You know if it's anywhere near that, the third-string will make sure it evaporates in the fourth quarter.

      1. Yeah, that's the problem. We can assume the third-string will let our lead evaporate by 10-points per 6 minutes. So if the entire 4th quarter is garbage time, we'd need to be up 70 by the end of the 3rd. This is pretty much impossible, but even if you assume it's not, our third string will be in long before we get there.

  3. This is where Kevin Love is right now. He scored 21 points and I cant remember how he scored those points.
