  1. Danny Santana is pinch hitting for Aaron Hicks
So Santana is going to play CF?

  2. What is the "Drew Butera pitches in a game" equivalent for the CF situation?

  3. If the Twins are going to get back into this game, this is when they need to do it.

      1. Took one for the team. If the ball doesn't hit him, it's likely a tie game. Well, with Cabrera running, it's at least 1st & 3rd and 1 out.

  4. Jack Morris is making too much sense in the broadcast booth. he says that the Twins need to prevent a run so why not bring in your best reliever here.

      1. Must have been his time north of the border. Time to send Gladden to the Blue Jays for a while.

  5. Provus was a little more excited about the center fielder catching a fly ball than one would wish for.

  6. Atteberry just referenced Avogadro's number. I somehow don't think we'd have gotten that reference with Dazzle in the booth.

    1. I thought perhaps initially because the fielder had to reach up to catch the short hop and then bring the tag down, so I thought Escobar might have slid under, but the first replay showed he was clearly out.

  7. Provus was a little more excited about the left fielder catching a fly ball than one would wish for.

  8. Provus was a little more excited about the right fielder first missing, then catching a fly ball than one would wish for.

    1. 3-4 road trip, not a disaster!
that should be a slogan: 2014 Twins Not a disaster!

  9. Tigers seeing the Twins don't have any outfielders hit the ball to all three infielders in the OF in the 9th. Pretty good strategy but the Twins make it look easy. At least the Twins are smart enough to put shortstops in LF and RF. Actual shortstops, not those that used to be good before injuries.
