  1. Darin Mastroianni has not fared well in Toronto. Zero stolen bases, only 5 hits in 32 plate appearances.

    1. I was thinking about this the other day. For all the annoyance of not having a centerfielder much of this year, if the Twins had kept Mastroianni or Alex Presley or somebody like that it would've made very little difference to their season. It would've looked better, but the Twins record would probably be about the same.

      1. Sam Fuld has been better than Ben Revere and about the same as Denard Span (although Span has been heating up lately) and Danny Santana has been better than Fuld. If Presley and Mastroianni were both still with the Twins, I doubt either one is playing CF for the Twins. Santana might have taken over SS by now, but who knows.

        1. The question is whether Santana would've gotten a chance to play center if Presley or Mastroianni were around. No way to know, of course. So, if Santana continues to play well, it could be argued that not having a centerfielder (other than Hicks) worked out well for the Twins.
