  1. I'm here tonight! At least for part of the time. Kids are at the grandparents! Now I can get caught up on dishes!

  2. I've probably said this about 50 times, but I enjoy Roy Smalley in the announcers booth.

    1. Unfortunately, Omaha is in the KC blackout area and I can't get mlb.com feed and I have to watch the Royals broadcast on FSM. Rex Hudler has got to be one of the worst color men in all of mlb.

      1. Yeah, Dozier either totally ignored 3B coach or Vavra had his head up his a$$.

        1. I thought I heard Ullger was back at third for the rest of the year- Vavra has a back/hip issue, I think.

        2. It was the former, although the STrib says that Dozier couldn't hear Ullger, who was yelling "Stay! Stay!" Dozier never saw the shortstop backing up the play and took off for home.

  3. They didn't get any runs, but I'll be if that wasn't a fun half inning to watch.

    1. He's terrible at fielding. He can't hit. I don't understand why he's on the team let alone playing at short.

    1. Yeah. Of course, 3 runs in 6 innings ain't terrible. It'd look decent if the Twins capitalized on some of their opportunities.

  4. Since July 3, Sam Fuld was batting .368/.486/.439 coming into this game, so the Twins have him bunt with the tying run at second and no outs in the eighth inning against a RH reliever and two RH batters due up. Two K's later, the Twins' best chance to win the game was over.
