  1. Since the All-star Game, the Twins are last in the division at 13-20.
Fourth? Tigers at 15-20. That's right, the Tigers have played only one game better than the Twins over that time.

Royals are 23-10 (10 games ahead of Twins)
Cleveland is 17-16 (4 games ahead of Twins)
Sox are 14-18 (1.5 games ahead of Twins).

    1. Everyone is waiting for the Royals to come crashing down, because Royals.
Its almost September and its not happened.

  2. I've never understood why Gardy always waits so long to send Anderson out there to talk to his pitcher. I mean, if even Dazzle can see something that's going wrong, Gardy and Anderson should be able to see it, too. Why wait until there are two runs in and two runners on before you send the pitching coach out there to correct it? Why not correct it earlier?

  3. Torii should have been called for interference. He slide way out of the base path to take out Escobar

    1. If you cant take out the catcher anymore, why are you allowed to take out fielders trying to make a play?

  4. I don't think they'll change the rule on sliding into second, the way Dazzle mockingly suggested, but why would it be so terrible if they did? What would be so wrong about saying a runner has to slide directly into the base unless he's trying to avoid a tag?

  5. I know that, as a starting pitcher, you have to keep your composure and keep making your pitches no matter what the home plate umpire does. Having said that, it has to awfully frustrating when you hit the corners just like you're trying to and the umpire won't give you a call. That's especially true when your stuff isn't good enough to throw the ball over the middle of the plate and not get hit.

  6. If you could couple Santana's batting average with Dozier's walks, you'd have a pretty awesome player. Not that they're so bad individually, of course.

  7. Every time I get frustrated with one of the Twins announcers, I think to myself, "At least we don't have John Sterling."

  8. If we were going to have a bullpen implosion, it might as well come in a game we probably weren't going to win anyway.

  9. White Sox lost today. That means the Twins are still one game back in the standings.
I'll be happy if the Twins finish ahead of the Pale Hose
