    1. I believe that's John Lithgow instructing his family and Dr. Wrightwood to affix Sasquatch footprint molds to their feet and "Engage!" in deception to obfuscate the tracking prowess of famed hunter Jacques LaFleur in the critically lauded family film Harry and the Hendersons.

  1. FF DRAFT ALERT

For those that haven't sworn off football completely:

Foot And Ball Guys: Saturday, 30 August 2014, 3:00pm
Foots And Balls Guys - BSQUAD!: Sunday. 31 August 2014, 8:30pm

    1. Is there league information (names and passwords and such) that I should already know? I wish to join in your friendly competition.

      1. I believe the "A" league is full (?). There's some room in the B league, but we'd need to recruit one more player (odd number of teams otherwise).

          1. Sorry. I can't believe it's already football season. I signed up for the A league. I'm going to pass on the B league this year. Too many teams!

I won't be able to do the draft tomorrow afternoon.

  2. Speaking of phoning it in, the birthday list has been put together rather hurriedly in recent days, without much time to update it. That situation will probably continue for a while. If there is erroneous information, or information that needs updating, please feel free to note that in an LTE. Thanks.

    1. Was explaining some of Ulysses to NBBW earlier today, how the critics/pundits are split between 'Joyce was a genius' to 'he was mad'.

She: So what do you think?

Me: I don't see that much difference between the two.

  3. On the Skillet: Maryland Crab Cakes

Crunch up 16-17 saltines using a mortar/pestle. Gently please, mix in 1 lb. of lump crabmeat with your fingers.

In a separate bowl mix in 1 tbsp Dijon mustard, 1 tbsp Pickapeppa sauce, 1 tbsp mayonnaise, 1/2 tsp Louisiana hotsauce and an egg. Whip it good.

Mix the mayonnaise sauce with the crabmeat. Let it relax a while.

Makes 8-9 1/3 cup patties - fry in med-high olive oil till done on both sides (3-4 min on each). Serve w/ salad (romaine w/ Cindy's Kitchen Power Dressing Jalapeno Ranch - best evah!).

  4. AMR - No worries, IGYB.
Congrats on the FSA. May you never have to take another exam as long as you live.
