16. The Tigers are eliminated, Scoscia had to go to his bullpen 2/3 of an inning into an elimination game, and Torii Hunter is considering retirement. This might be the best baseball day in a long time.

18. I went to get the clothes put of the dryer right after the triple. I did not expect the Angels to go to the bullpen while I was gone.

    1. This game is going to be 7 hours long.

          1. Nope. The Angels have nine relievers on the roster.

             1. And I'd guess that we'll see Weaver before this is over.

20. I might have to start rooting for LA. The announcers just said that if they lose, there's no tomorrow. I'd kind of like for there to be a tomorrow. I have things to do.

    1. Most teams' strategies don't hinge on doomsday scenarios. That's got to motivate players, right?

       Then again, you don't want your team to start pressing.

                1. A good point. In my case, I never watched college football in the first place so I was only freeing myself from the NFL. Maybe I'll start proselytizing #football free on Saturdays as well as Sundays.
