Fall Festival: The Fall Stars Game: November 1

Two Twins played in the game.  I was calling it the Fall Stars Game back when MLB still just called it the AFL all-star game.  Guess I should've copyrighted it.

AFL EAST 6, AFL WEST 2 AT SALT RIVER (EAST)

Twins:  Eddie Rosario was 0-for-2 with a walk.  Jake Reed pitched a scoreless inning, giving up one hit.

West:  Hunter Renfroe (San Diego) was 1-for-2 with a home run.  Francellis Montas (White Sox) struck out two in two shutout innings, giving up one hit and two walks.

East:  Josh Bell (Pittsburgh) was 1-for-1 with three walks and two runs.  Greg Bird (Yankees) was 1-for-4 with a home run and a walk.  Archie Bradley (Arizona) pitched two shutout innings, giving up a hit and a walk with one strikeout.

The game:  Dalton Pompey hit a three-run triple that put the East ahead 4-0 in the second.  The West closed to 4-2 in the top of the sixth, but Roman Quinn singled in a run in the bottom of the sixth and the East lead was never threatened again.
