I saw that LaTroy says 2015 will be his last season.

Was replaced in his role as closer by current Twins bullpen coach Eddie Guardado after Hawkins failed as a starter for a number of years. Also, was a teammate of new Twins manager Paul Molitor. Was also a teammate of Carl Willis, who was considered for the pitching coach role.
Please let there be someone who will be on his team next year that has just started a similarly long and wandering career...
He has no wins against the Twins, Cubs, or Astros.
The Rockies play a 4-game home-and-away interleage series against the Astros, but do not face the Twins.
Unless he's traded during the season, he could have wins against all 29 franchises that didn't draft him.
I see that Wisconsin is going after Pitt's Paul Chryst.
Not exactly Chiziking if he wasn't fired by Pitt.
Should have brought a bigger book, I just finished and I still have about one-fifth of my class working on their final exams.
Should have given an easier exam.

So, found out today that the Girl has been admitted to Faber College. We are going out to celebrate. And then we go on the bread-and-water diet to save money for tuition.
I hope she doesn't have a certain... morally casual attitude.

I made bS's corn chowder tonight. Delicious. The only thing I didn't like is that I forgot to get a loaf of French bread to go with it.
We made it on Thursday. I spiced mine up a bit with hot sauce and red pepper flakes.
Add some lump crab meat and you've got yourself a bisque.
