  1. Huh. Two bunt attempts by Mauer. The fielders must not have moved after the first attempt.

  2. Molly stole three innings there, but still - why no Perk in tie game on the road with day off tomorrow?

    1. Duensing? Beyond idiotic. Even if this continues to work out, the process is unbelievably wrong and won't lead to good things down the road. If Molly is concerned about overworking Perkins, why is Boyer pitching constantly?

    1. Perkins can probably go one inning, two if the first one is short. Do that now. Then ride Duensing for as long as you can; the guy used to start. Otherwise, when do you decide to bring in Perkins now? After 3 Duensing innings? 4?

  3. The offense needs to get a run to save Molitor from his own bullpen tendencies. I don't expect that Duensing will hold up 3 innings like Graham did.

  4. It's games like these that make you wonder how just 25 years ago teams were able to make it through entire seasons with just six relievers.

    PAUER!!!!

  5. When I went to a game in PNC, I sat a few rows in front of the pressbox. It was a great seat (despite Dick's complaints about being in the nosebleed section).
