    1. I don't have the ability to listen to them, bit it sounds like someone should call them up and tell them you aren't supposed to sit on the microphone.

  1. Duffey has a strikezone-seeking curveball. I don't know how, but it keeps finding some corner of the zone.

    1. Wiggling when you're capable of striking guys out is so much better than when you Blackburn it.

    1. Also agreed. But Plouffe got hosed on that call at 3rd.

Not that the Twins did themselves any favor by letting Keuchel out of it in 4 pitches after 1st & 2nd with no outs.

      1. It looked like he might be safe but I don't think there was definitive video evidence that Lowrie didn't find the bag.

    2. Not a terrible idea with no outs but that was a bad bunt plus it was Suzuki and Buxton after Escobar.

      1. That was the part I didn't like. Escobar was the best hitter they had coming up that inning. Even if the bunt had been successful, you're leaving it up to Suzuki and Buxton to drive in the runs.

      1. My theory is that May heard all the talk about how they couldn't move him into the rotation next season because he's too valuable in the bullpen. Since he wants to start, he thought, "I'd better start pitching poorly out of the bullpen so I can start next year."

      1. Sure, he's fast. But that doesn't mean it's less annoying watching a guy reach on a ball that he barely made contact on.
