  1. Chattanooga defeated Montgomery 4-1 to defeat the Biscuits three games to one. An RBI single by Travis Harrison put the Lookouts ahead 2-1 in the third. Adam Brett Walker II hit his second home run of the series. David Hurlbut pitched seven innings, giving up one run on six hits and two walks with four strikeouts.

The next playoff action for Twins affiliates is Wednesday. Chattanooga will play in Biloxi at 7:10 in game one of the Southern League championship series. Cedar Rapids travels to West Michigan for a 5:35 game in game one of the Midwest League championship series. Felix Jorge is scheduled to pitch for Cedar Rapids. No word yet on who will throw for the Lookouts.

  2. Just putting this out there now... On Friday the 25th, I'll be in St Paul for a training that ends at 12:30. Thus, some sort of lunch caucus would be nice for me that day.

  3. The text on today's Co'C image has me a little confused. My German isn't all that, but it doesn't look quite Deutsch -- it appears to want to translate to something like "to the little golden coffee tree"

      1. Ah! ara and bischen are a single word! I was trying to use "ara" as "oro" or some other representation of "gold", and "bisschen" means "short (duration)" instead of "little", so I knew that was a stretch. Well then: "to the Arab coffee tree" it is.

  4. Watching Cin-SF game. Bottom of ninth, Pagan hits one down the line just fair and not one, but THREE fans are leaning over the rail trying to get the ball (one does).

What is wrong with people these days? If you can afford a field-level, front-row seat, can't you alsoafford some basic baseball etiquette?

      1. I had a similar comment typed up this morning but deleted it as it was neither fair nor in good taste.
        Well done Mike.
