4. So ten minutes into the drive to the airport, I get a call from the airline telling me our flight is delayed 4 hours.
   

   1. Wow - - usually that call comes ten minutes from the airport!

      1. Or an hour past the scheduled departure

         1. and then two hours later, they cancel the flight.

            1. We got on the plane, we pushed back from the gate, we stopped for mechanics to check something, we went back to the gate and got off the plane. Now we're waiting to get on a different plane. Six hours after our scheduled departure time.

               2. Same situation happened to us on our way back from Northern Ireland last summer, and i feel your pain, bro. Totes shitfuck.

      1. I've never had any moral issues with it, but it definitely makes me feel better about disliking that guy more than just about any other player ever.

               Also, can you imagine being the guy to come the guy OPS'ing 1100(!!!).

6. Today is the rookie hazing flight for the Twins. The theme was wrestling singlets. Most had Team USA logos but Keper had a Germany one.

7. Watching Texas and Houston. Go-go just scored on a wild pitch with a pretty great slide, sneaking his hand under the pitchers legs. Home plate slides have gotten immeasurably better since the plate blocking rule went into effect that I think that anyone that said anything bad and it should be publicly shamed.

   1. And catcher injuries from collisions has dropped. But still have those pesky concussions from foul tips =(

      1. Definitely an issue, but at least it's something that happens on accident as opposed to being a goal of every play.

    ...Moore who literally kept the Lynx in the game with 40 points -- a career-high playoff total for the young superstar -- eight rebounds (including five on the offensive end), four assists and three steals.

    1. Mercury were the defending champs. I think the Lynx will be pretty heavily favored whoever they face in the finals.
