Minor Details: Game of September 14

David Hurlbut leads the Lookouts to the series victory.

CHATTANOOGA 4, MONTGOMERY 1 IN MONTGOMERY--FIRST ROUND, GAME FOUR

Batting stars:  Max Kepler was 1-for-3 with a double and two walks, scoring twice.  Adam Brett Walker II was 1-for-3 with a home run (his second) and a walk.  Heiker Meneses was 2-for-3 with a walk.

Pitching stars:  David Hurlbut pitched seven innings, giving up one run on six hits and two walks with four strikeouts.  Nick Burdi pitched a perfect inning with one strikeout.  J. T. Chargois pitched a scoreless inning, giving up only a walk.

Opposition stars:  Jake Bauers was 2-for-3 with a home run.  Jake DePew was 1-for-2 with a walk.

The game:  The Lookouts left the bases loaded in the top of the second and Bauers homered in the bottom of the second, putting Montgomery up 1-0.  In the third, an error and a Travis Harrison RBI single put the Lookouts in front 2-1.  Kepler doubled and scored in the fifth and Walker II homered in the eighth to increase the Lookouts lead.  The biggest Biscuits threat came in the eighth, when they had two on with none out.  Burdi came in to get a strikeout and a double play to end the inning.

Of note:  Stephen Wickens was 1-for-5 with a double and a run.  Jorge Polanco was 0-for-5.  Harrison was 1-for-4 with an RBI.  D. J. Hicks was 0-for-3 with an RBI.
