4. Apparently Hirschbeck told Sano to "Get the fuck out of here."

   1. Several times, according to Sano.

   2. I know sometimes they get confused, but he got confused a lot of times — a lot.

      I love this guy.

      1. Just one more reason I'm glad to say I made Sano my second shirsey after my very worn Mauer one.

         1. After my Mauer 7 shirsey wore too much, I bought a Span 2 shirsey a few years ago but somehow bought a size too small. CER wears it as a nightshirt.

            1. More than one of my kids have Mauer shirseys. Aquinas's (6) favorite player is Mauer. I suspect Neitzsche (almost 2) will have a different favorite, what with Sano and Buxton around.

6. Team USA takes the Bronze in Curling World Championships. Japan had a chance to win with the last stone in the final end but their guy Shustered it.

   1. Ugh, I hate that "Schustered" is a negative verb, but it's not inaccurate to be so.

      1. I want to hate that as well, but since the USCA had rigged the selection process to keep sending the same teams to these things over and over and over makes it bother me a whole lot less.
