INDIANAPOLIS 2, ROCHESTER 0 IN INDIANAPOLIS
Jason Rogers tripled and scored in the fifth and Adam Frazier doubled in a run in the sixth. The Red Wings did not get a hit until the ninth, when James Beresford and Jorge Polanco got one out singles. A fly ball double play then ended the game. Four Indians pitchers combined for the shutout. Logan Darnell pitched only five innings, giving up one run on two hits and no walks with three strikeouts. Each starter was removed after five innings due to a two hour and fifteen minute rain dealy.
CHATTANOOGA 7, BIRMINGHAM 4 IN BIRMINGHAM
The Lookouts scored four in the second on a two-run homer by Daniel Palka and a two-run double by Levi Michael and never trailed. Palka also homered in the ninth (his ninth) and was 2-for-3 with a walk on the day. Zach Granite was 2-for-5. Ryan Walker did not play. Nick Greenwood pitched well, going seven innings and giving up two runs on four hits and no walks with four strikeouts.

CEDAR RAPIDS 8, BELOIT 2 IN BELOIT
The Kernels scored two in the second and never trailed. A three-run eighth, aided by two walks and three wild pitches, put the game out of reach. A. J. Murray led the offense with a 3-for-5 day. Daniel Kihle was 2-for-4 with a walk. Nelson Molina was 1-for-3 with two walks and continues to bat .333. Luis Arraez was 1-for-6 and is batting .325. LaMonte Wade did not play. Fernando Romero had another good game, allowing two runs on four hits and a walk with five strikeouts in six innings. In three starts, his ERA is 1.69, his WHIP is 0.56, and he has 14 strikeouts in 16 innings.
