Minor Details: Games of June 13

CHATTANOOGA 4, TENNESSEE 2 IN TENNESSEE

Levi Michael homered leading off the fifth to give the Lookouts a 4-3 and put them ahead to stay.  Aaron Slegers struck out seven in six innings, giving up two runs on four hits and four walks.  Trevor Hildenberger pitched a scoreless inning and now has an ERA of 0.82 with a WHIP of 0.68 with 22 strikeouts and 3 walks in 22 innings (17 games).  D. J. Hicks was 2-for-3 with a double and a walk.  Zach Granite was 2-for-4 with a home run (his third) and a walk.  Leonardo Reginatto was 2-for-3 and is batting .306.  Engelb Vielma was 0-for-4 and is also batting .306.

LAKELAND 4, FORT MYERS 1 IN LAKELAND

Zach Shepherd homered in the second to put the Flying Tigers on the board and they led the rest of the way.  The Miracle had only three hits, none after the sixth inning.  Randy LeBlanc again struggled in his second high-A appearance, going five innings and allowing four runs on eight hits and two walks with three strikeouts.

BURLINGTON 5, CEDAR RAPIDS 1 IN CEDAR RAPIDS

Brendon Sanger hit a two-run double in the first and the Bees never trailed.  Sam Clay had his third average-to-below game out of four, striking out seven in 5.2 innings but allowing three runs on five hits and three walks.  Kuo Hua Lo pitched a scoreless inning, lowering his ERA to 1.00 with 25 strikeouts (and 20 walks) in 27 innings.  Luis Arraez was 2-for-4 to raise his average to .312.  LaMonte Wade was 0-for-4 and is batting .302.

DSL TWINS 10, DSL ROJOS 8 AT ROJOS

The Twins led 6-1, fell behind 8-6, and finally took the lead for good in the eighth on an RBI single by Agustin Marte.  Each team made four errors and there were sixteen walks.  Eleven of the walks were issued by Twins pitchers, and along with the four errors enabled the Rojos to score eight runs with just five hits.  Starter Juan Mojica struck out six in four innings but gave up four runs on two hits and four walks.  Mariano Calcano was 2-for-4 with a home run and a walk.  Antonio Tovar was 2-for-4 with a walk and is batting .364.  Victor Tademo was 2-for-5 with a double and a walk and is batting .360.
