    No, not just for some but for everyone

  2. Thanks for the podcast recommendations a few weeks ago. I'm enjoying them.

    Has anybody listened to Gladwell's new podcast? It is my favorite. I especially am enjoying his latest three part take down of our secondary education system.

    Another I really enjoyed was Love & Radio's interview with Darryl Davis. Davis is an African American that "befriended" high-ranking members of the KKK. Amazing stuff.

  3. Wow. WNBA fines teams and players for wearing plain, black teeshirts in warmups as a subtle "Black Lives Matter" protest.

    Ok, I guess I get it that the league has endorsement deals that cover things like wearing logo-ed warm-up shirts. But...this seems a bit tone-deaf on the part of the suits.

  4. As a longtime fan of Epic Trolling!, I wholeheartedly endorse what Third Eye Blind did yesterday.

  5. So, when I try to login via the sidebar, I get an error and sent to a WordPress page. There, I can log in just fine. The thing though is that I have Chrome autosave everything, so I know the correct password is being put in the first time.

    This happen to anyone else?

    1. Never happens when using Firefox, desktop or mobile. Used to happen on Firefox mobile I think but now it doesn't. I can't comment on Chrome desktop and mobile it has been too long for me to remember.

  6. Trader Antony?

    Executives with other teams have great respect for Ryan and also believed that, generally speaking, he would move conservatively in midsummer trades -- so it’s probably not a coincidence that in the hours after news of the GM change, calls poured into the Twins’ organization about possible deals.

    1. Armstrong became the first to step onto the lunar surface six hours later on July 21 at 02:56:15 UTC;

      I was talking about the moon walk itself, which was ~7 hours after landing.

      1. I guess it depends on what time you're using. The NASA article was using EDT (10:56 p.m. 7/20/69), which in WGOM time (CDT), would be 8:56 p.m. 7/20/69.

  7. I'm currently in a brewpub in Lawrence eating gnocchi and drinking a pink beer (a berliner Weiss made with hibiscus). I did not expect this.

      1. It was interesting. Kind of added a bit of tart fruitiness and seemed to hide any traces of salt in the beer. It paired really well with the white wine sauce on the gnocchi.
