It's surprising AJ is still kicking around. To me, Mauer has been around for a loooong time, and the Twins traded AJ away to make room for him. I gotta tip my cap to him for still being productive.
I don't know if I'd exactly call him productive. He has a career 94 OPS+. He's been well below that in 4 out of the last 5 years.
Define "productive" however you want, but he keeps getting contracts so someone somewhere values him.
