  1. I just learned that this song wasn't written by Knox, but by another Aboriginal country singer, Vic Simms.
    So this is kindof an oldie or classic song in the scene.

    His U.S. debut album Stranger in My Land, with the Pine Valley Cosmonauts (Jon Langford's backing band when he's not with the Waco Bros or Mekons) was released on Bloodshot in 2013 and included a track with Will Oldham singing backup, and that's why I know that there even is an Aboriginal Country scene.
