The Twins have been stuck on 49 wins for about a week. To get to 50 they will have to beat up on old friend Francisco Liriano. Pat Dean will try to soak up some innings for the Twins. Brian Dozier is probably good for a HR or 3 this series.

It's kind of like Molitor has this rule in his head that after a starting pitcher gives up so many runs, he has to take him out of the game, regardless of the situation. As with Duffey the other day, there was no real reason to take Dean out at that point.
