Hit me pretty hard when I read it hours later. That's a potential all-time great we lost. Besides having a kid on the way, he was a kid himself, not yet in his prime. Ugh.

Very sad news tonight. According to multiple reports, golf legend Arnold Palmer has died. The King was 87.
Even just today going away would be a start. At least Palmer had a long life, and hey, my eight-year-old knows his name because of the drink. I think I'd be happy if I did enough to get a drink named after me, though in my case I would hope it was an imperial stout or some such.
