FMD — Dinosaur Jr. Night

Pitch hitting for Corn...

Going to Dinosaur Jr. tonight which means my hearing ability will be reduced by a couple of percentage points.  DJr has released 4 excellent albums since they "reformed."  Can any other band come close to that?

Drop your lists.

    6. One of my faves by the man. Made with the cartoony percussion samples found on many keyboards: slide whistles, "rattlesnake" shaker, jaw harp, etc.

    8. Yeah, my wife. She was drafted to write songs for Vacation Bible School at our church the past two years. This year, she got a parish youth to record her songs in his bedroom studio. Pretty good.

    T. Nonesuch release.

    Johnny Cash?

How many bands that I listen to have ever "reformed"?
Jane's Addiction (breaking up PfP, whom I preferred)
Orbital (They're brothers: was it even a breakup or just a break? Reunion was bound to happen.)
Meat Puppets (Brothers, but they broke up because one was a heroin addict in prison. Reunion hinged on him getting clean and free.)
Burger/Ink? (As "Burger/Voigt", but they kept recording together on and off via various other monikers.)

      1. Which makes me realize that the Breeders belong on it, but if they're going to make four excellent post-reunion albums, they've got four to go.
I don't really listen to the Pixies, don't have any of their CDs. Don't know why, but they never caught anything in my brain that says "listen to me".
They were broken up before I started to earn disposable income to spend on CDs. I've got two Frank Black albums, three Breeders album (one post-reunion), and the Breeders-interregnum album by the Amps.
