FMD: 2017 Summer Mix

Alright, everyone, it's that time of year. Please put your candidates in SPOILER form below. Please list up to 3 choices (further choices will be ignored). The first choice is automatically in, and the other 2 choices will be put in a pool to be selected from to fill out the mix.

A kindly volunteer will corral the suggestions* and then we'll pound the mix out after that.

Also, drop yer lists below too.

*Since it's processed anonymously, it's possible that someone could get all 3 songs on the mix. I can't recall if that's happened before...

    *Notes:
    3. Closing theme from Aldnoah.Zero, hence the EP title.

    6. I've never been sure the degree of collaboration on this album. All the odd-numbered tracks are from Porter Ricks (hence the "PR"), and the even-numbered tracks are from Techno Animal. But is this song PR remixed by TA, or PR using sounds from TA? Or is the album just two independent EPs released as one, but with alternating sequencing? I bought this unheard as a Used CD at the Snelling Avenue Cheapo: one of the best music-shopping days I ever had. Those Macalester kids really had some great titles that they had to liquidate for cash.

        a. Knowing this call is why I had my first local Scarlet Tanager in the last few years two weeks ago. I never did see it, but I did get an audio recording (video of treetops).

  3. I'm going to go for newer songs this year:

    All three made my personal summer mix. Per tradition, that list will be posted eventually here...

      1. I figured that one had the highest chance of overlap, so I dropped it to #3.

      2. I'm certain the same song has been nominated by multiple people in past years*--I would assume it just makes it more likely that a non-number-one song to will be included.

        * SelectShow
        1. If multiple people choose the same song regardless of position, that always adds weight to the choice. However if someone has it as their first choice, I suppose that doesn't matter...

  5. Fortunately, there's no deadline for the summer mix this year. I predict it'll be ready by mid-October. 😉

  6. it's possible that someone could get all 3 songs on the mix. I can't recall if that's happened before...

    It definitely did in 2015.

      1. I'm annoyed by my own predictability.

        Looks like Algonad was the only citizen with that distinction in 2016.
