  1. Maybe you should know better, but if that's your worst habit, I'd say you're doing pretty well.

  2. The Twins started this roadie tied for first. They will come home no worse than 1.5 games up.

  3. To make room for Nik Turley on the forty-man roster, the Twins have designated Drew Rucinski for assignment.

  4. Twayn Signal Alert:

Driving up in Tahoe this weekend, the check engine light on my Camry went on. I checked fluids (Because that's what I know) and no problems. And the belt was intact. 😉

Anyhoo, I drove us home today and went to Walmart to purchase and OBD-II reader (since my other one is with The Boy in LA). Of course, the check engine light turned off when I got to the store.

    Code was P2238,
    O2 Sensor Positive
    Current Control
    Circuit Low Bank 1
    Sensor 1

is it reasonable to assume that this was just an altitude thing and nothing to worry about? I certainly saw no perceivable performance issue.

    1. Doc, this would be a situation where I'd say, yeah, totally the altitude, and I would be satisfied not knowing. But, I'm also the kind of person who doesn't go looking for problems to fix*.

      *W/R/T houses and cars.

    2. That's reasonable. Google says P2238 is the engine control module (ECM) detecting the O2 sensor has a short in the heater control circuit. Make sure all the O2 sensor electrical connections are corrosion-free, clean and tight and if you get the fault code again at normal altitude replace the O2 sensor.

  5. Aaron Judge has already hit two today, including a 495-foot job.

If this kid is nice in the slightest and is a longtime Yankee, we could be easily be looking at the media's next Jeter.

      1. I was working on a response, but this is better than anything I would have come up with.
