Minor Details: Games of June 19

David Hurlbut has an excellent game.  Zack Granite keeps hitting.  The Miracle loses in extra innings.  The DSL Twins keep hitting, too.

ROCHESTER 7, BUFFALO 0 IN ROCHESTER

Four singles produced two Red Wings runs in the second.  In the third, four doubles, a single, and two walks brought home four runs to make it 6-0 and Rochester cruised to a win.  They really should have had more runs--they had seventeen hits and five walks but stranded fourteen runners.

The cruising was made possible by David Hurlbut, who had his best game of the season.  He struck out seven in seven shutout innings, giving up four hits and two walks.  Mason Melotakis made his Red Wings debut with a perfect inning.  Kam Mickolio also pitched a perfect inning.  Matt Hague was 3-for-4 with a double and a walk.  John Ryan Murphy was 3-for-5 with two doubles.  Zack Granite was 3-for-5 with a double and is batting .349.  J. B. Shuck was 2-for-3 with two walks.  Tommy Field was 2-for-4 with a double.  Mitch Garver and ByungHo Park were each 2-for-5 with a double.

CHATTANOOGA LOOKOUTS

No game scheduled--all-star break.

JUPITER 4, FORT MYERS 3 IN JUPITER (10 INNINGS)

The Miracle trailed 3-1 through seven.  In the eighth, a walk, a hit batsman, and two more walks made it 3-2.  In the ninth, Max Murphy singled home Tanner English with the tying run.  The go-ahead run was thrown out trying to score from second on an error, however, and in the tenth Fort Myers left men on second and third.  In the bottom of the tenth, J. J. Gould scored from first on a double by Dustin Geiger to end the game.  Steve Lombardozzi, Jr. was 0-for-2 for the Hammerheads.  Martin Prado was 2-for-4 with a double.

Brady Anderson pitched five innings, giving up three runs on eight hits and two walks with three strikeouts.  Jonny Drozd pitched two shutout innings to drop his ERA to 2.92.  Michael Theofanopoulos struck out three in two perfect innings.  English was 3-for-5 with two doubles.

DSL TWINS 8, DSL YANKEES 2 AT YANKEES
