June 25, 2017: I Don’t See Nuthin’ Wrong With A Little Buff And Shine

Yesterday I had the privilege of using a floor buffer, which was about the same as trying to break a wild foal. Only made one giant dent in the wall.

  1. Minor Details, which had been published in partial form earlier, is finished now.

    1. I cracked my pizza stone after 3 states and 10 years last month. I just grilled pizza (though more like flat bread) by par baking the dough directly over hot coals, topping the parcooked side, baking the pie directly over the coals until the bottom was golden brown with some char (this took maybe a minute and a half, maybe), and finishing under the broiler. I'm impressed with the result, though the effort is a bit much.

      1. Bummer about the stone. I think my first one lasted around 15 years. And, IIRC, the second about a month. Current one is going on about a decade.

I do love grilled pizza, but don't make it often enough.

  2. Points for the title creativity. Negative points for getting the song stuck in my head.
