  1. Angels won last night so Twins out of the wild card spot again. They're only a half game ahead of the Orioles and another one game above the Rangers.

  2. Fort Myers loses to Palm Beach 3-2, so they are done for the season. Everyone can go home before the hurricane gets there.

    Chattanooga scores three in the first and lead 3-1 in the top of the third.

    Elizabethton scores three in the third (and is still batting) to take a 3-0 lead in the bottom of the third.

    Cedar Rapids is tied at zero in the bottom of the first.

  3. Cedar Rapids scores three in the first to jump out to a 3-0 lead. No changes in the other two games.

  4. T. J. White homers in the fourth. Chattanooga leads Montgomery 4-1 through five.

    Manny Jefferson hit a two-run single in the second to cut the Kernels lead to 3-2. Cedar Rapids came back with a two-run double by Lewin Diaz in the bottom of the second. 5-2 Kernels through two.

    Elizabethton continues to lead Greeneville 3-0 through five and a half.

  5. Montgomery gets an RBI single from Brett Sullivan in the sixth. Chattanooga leads 4-2 through six and a half.

    Kane County gets an RBI single from Stephen Smith (fortunately, Stephen J. Smith) in the third. Cedar Rapids leads 5-3 through three and a half.

    Elizabethton continues to lead Greeneville 3-0 through seven.

  6. Greeneville loaded the bases with one out in the eighth. Jovani Moran came in and struck out the next two batters. Elizabethton continues to lead Greeneville 3-0 through seven and a half.

  7. Chattanooga continues to lead 4-2 in the top of the ninth, but Montgomery has men on first and second with none out.

    Cedar Rapids continues to lead Kane County 5-3 in the top of the sixth. The Cougars had a man on first and two out.

    A sacrifice fly and a two-run single by Mark Contreras score three for Elizabethton in the eighth. The Twins are still batting and have a 6-0 lead.

  8. In Montgomery's ninth, a passed ball put men on second and third with none out. A strikeout and a sacrifice fly made the score 4-3 and put the tying run on third base. A ground out then ended the game. Chattanooga wins 4-3 and takes a 1-0 lead in the best of five series.

    Cedar Rapids continues to lead Kane County 5-3 through six innings.

    Greeneville goes down in order in the ninth. Elizabethton wins 6-0 and takes the series 2-1. They will go on to play Pulaski. It appears that series will begin tomorrow.

  9. Ramon Hernandez hits a two-run homer for Kane County in the seventh. Tied 5-5 going to the eighth.

  10. Jimmy Kerrigan delivers an RBI single in the eighth. Kane County goes down in order in the ninth. Cedar Rapids takes a 1-0 lead in the best-of-three series.
