1. I'll be gone all day, so Off-Season's Greetings will take the day off. If nothing unexpected happens, we'll get caught up tomorrow.

2. So some days, my job is really cool. Today is one of those days; I have a 5' snake skin sitting on my desk.

      Most days, my job is really cool, too. But today, my boss is very upset about something and has every right to be. Kind of one of those "I let my parents down" sort of feelings.

      1. and now I made one of my employees cry. This day can go straight to hell.

         3. I've recently had two termination phone calls, sent two letters of reprimand, have another three to go, and some lengthy discussion about Wellness Checks and Reasonable Suspicion Testing.

            Getting to know HR too well for my liking lately.

            1. This manager has not been sued or had a grievance filed against in __ days!

   2. Is this evidence in a CPS case, or treasured heirloom of an estate?
      New decor?

      1. It's the standard anniversary gift for anyone who's been a lawyer as long as I have.

3. I have work to do. Kenji Alt-Lopez's favorite hot sauces.

   I have only tried a few. The El Yucateco is great and my daughter's favorite. We just sent her a bottle in her most recent Care Package. They also make a green sauce I like even better.
