I seriously thought about making this myself. If I didn't have kids I might have beat this guy to it, but not sure I could have done it any better.
I've seen many a Tecmo ( or Super) Bowl game lost because of the horrible diving by the defensive players that are too far away.
I'm gonna see Algonad this afternoon on my way into NE. If anyone else would like to grace my presence 😉 come to the rugby fundraiser. But seriously it'd be good to see people if you're at all available
Twins hire Jim Kaat as special assistant. I like Kaat but he is very, very old school. Interesting hire.
Of course, special assistant could mean he'll make some public appearances.
Let’s hope it’s this, or, I dunno, teaching pitcher defense in spring training? The Twins broadcast crews don’t need any more GOML mindsets.
Morneau, on the other hand, seems like he’d be well-positioned to boost the quality of the broadcast team. I don’t know his position on advanced metrics, but I liked his in-game interview last year enough to want to hear him take a swing at a full game.
Wolves on TNT tonight which means no FSN. I hope the announcers are better than the Christmas broadcast.
