  1. If they're going to give you the whole left side of the infield you should take it, especially when you're leading off the inning.

      1. I'm not worried about him, either. But even if he was hitting well, I still think he should take the bunt single when he's leading off the inning in a scoreless game.

  2. Frankie Liriano had a tough luck loss today. 6 IP 3H 2R 3BB 4 K 1HR
Corey Kluber went 8 allowed 2 H 1 BB and 13K. Man, he is good!

  3. 7 of Lynn's 9 outs are strikeouts. But he is probably not going to get to 20 this game.

      1. Couple of batters were born in Missouri, Indiana, or Illinois, but that's it. Rogers is from Colorado, but I don't want him batting. Ah, Granite is from New York. Should have added him to the roster to start the season instead.

          1. I must've misread the state for the southern one. Good thing he's starting then...

              1. I thought about that, but he moved to Florida when signed at 16. Furthermore, Berlin's average lows are 28-32 °F. Looking up how much snow they get and it's not much, something like a foot for the entire winter. I leaned toward no, but I think borderline.

My dividing line would be whether the player still experiences cold weather in the winter of wherever he lives.

    1. Any time a head first slide results in the runner on their back, it means it was a hilarious slide.

  4. nothing beats listening to the Twins broadcast (because houston is sooooooooooooo close...) while making joke art and drinking gin and tonics. (yeah, it's still pretty sweet, but watching the game would be better...)

      1. I would tack on Davis going from first to third as well as Correa scoring instead of stopping at third on the eighth.

        1. Looks like that collectively adds another .111 to the negative column for those two plays. Not a good game, Eddie...
