SYRACUSE 3, ROCHESTER 2 IN ROCHESTER

Doubles by Nick Buss and Gregorio Petit tied the score 2-2 in the seventh, but doubles by Chris Dominguez and Alejandro De Aza brought home the go-ahead run for the Chiefs in the eighth.

Buss was 2-for-3 with a double and a walk.  Petit and Taylor Featherston were each 2-for-4 with a double.  Zack Granite was 2-for-5.  Adalberto Mejia started and pitched two shutout innings, giving up a hit and a walk and striking out one.  He was then removed from the game for no apparent reason, making one wonder if perhaps he's going to be the fifth starter Friday.  Fernando Romero pitched the next five innings, giving up two unearned runs on five hits and two walks and striking out three.  Nick Anderson struck out three in a scoreless inning, giving up one hit.
