Secret VitaMix cleaning trick:
After pouring out your blended material, quickly rinse out any major leavings. Pump a couple squirts of dish detergent into the blender jar, then fill 1/3 to 1/2 with warm water. Return to base and blend at Low Top for 10 seconds, then on High for 5 seconds. Rinse out suds, or use for washing up pots & pans. Rinse suds from blender jar & lid, let air dry.
