  1. Mrs. Runner is eating up the coverage (she did not watch it live this time), but I found myself identifying many of the locations that we just saw recently.

    1. My wife set the DVR to record at least a couple networks worth of coverage. I’m expecting she’ll be fast forwarding through most of it, but that’s still way more interest in rich people getting married than I can muster.

Assuming they put it online after the fact, I may watch the HBO version with Molly Shannon and Will Ferrel, though. Their coverage of the Rose Parade was the first time I’ve ever chosen to watch a parade on tv.

      1. My wife DVRed the Cord and Tish coverage and we watched it this morning. Pretty amusing.

  2. Random Twins related trivia.

Mike Trout has a good chance of being the last player ever to wear #27 for the Angels. Who will be the second to last?

  3. At the risk of boring the younger of you around here...

Sleep update: 4 hours 32 minutes. I stayed up late, woke up at about the same time as normal. Stayed in bed for a while, but never got back to sleep. So, I think the key is go to bed earlier and see if I can slowly shift the wake up time to about 7. Overall, best week I've had in two months.

    1. I wonder why Cave and not LaMarre. I'm not saying it's a mistake. I'm just curious about the reasons.

      1. I assume Morrison becomes the regular first baseman. Who's the backup? Garver?

          1. I was thinking the Twins had played Escobar at first a time or two, but according to b-r.com they haven't. They have played Adrianza there a few times.

        1. I thought there was an exception to that if someone went on the disabled list. I could be wrong, though.

    2. Apparently Mauer started having trouble in the Angels series. Pretty amazing that despite that, he had a seven-game hitting streak going into last night's game. (9-for-29).

  4. Just back from Deadpool 2. It was a touching family story.

    Also, funny and violent.

      1. I enjoyed the credit scene sequence as well.

        also really, really violent.

        Plus tj miller ... ...

          1. Yea, his schtick was considerably less enjoyable in light of recent revelations. Word is he will not return for DP3.
