I rode the Grand Rounds this morning before it gets stupid hot. Somewhere near the Quarry, I swallowed something from a cottonwood tree. It took about ten miles (!) before I could finally work it out to the point where it wasn't slowing me down and making me want to gag. Stupid trees.
