  1. Last night my internet with just a minute to go in the Eastern Conference Finals. It was clear the Cavs were winning, but man, I wanted to see the live reaction and postgame. I can’t believe that guy’s talent. I really can’t.

  2. It's Memorial Day. A day on which a Bookface friend from h.s., and a US Army veteran, posts approvingly a meme about preserving Stone Mountain.

      1. Oh, I like the pic. I'm just trying to figure out what that frog is next to the cup.

        1. It's actually Taylor Motter. Twenty-eight years old. Has hit .264/.338/.446 in 1083 AAA at-bats. Has hit .198/.269/.326 in 353 major league at-bats. Was in the Tampa Bay organization from 2011-2016, the Seattle organization since. Has played every position except catcher. I suppose he could be useful as a multi-position utility player, but for the most part I can't see that this signing will motter one way or another.

    1. I would have gone downtown to watch the championship game, but damn it was like a hundred million degrees here in Omerha yesterday.

  3. In the wake of the death of my distant cousin this week and the way I found out about it (via a Facebook post from Chuck Klosterman), I’ve been thinking a lot about my time out on the farm as a kid, and some of my ancestors. For the first time I realized that yes, my great grandfather and SBGville’s famous hipster have the same name. My great grandfather was named Charles Klosterman. It’s true.
