June 17, 2018: The Rose

Eddie got a walk, then 4 hits off of 4 pitches. He also made some running and fielding blunders. Like Molitor said, “He’s just going to do things. Kind of the way it is. Most of them are good.”

  1. As of this morning, Rosario is 5th in the AL in AVG, SLG and 6th in OPS. Crazy

Ed Escobar and all his double is 8th in SLG

  2. Michael Russo pens a Father's Day tribute to my recently deceased neighbor. The first time he invited my brothers and me over to use his pool he and a buddy were hanging out enjoying some cool beverages in the shade. I only later learned the identity of his buddy.

  3. Celebrating today by going to a matinee of Incredibles 2, then coming home to smoke a tri-tip and potatoes to go with asparagus. Happy F-day, all y'all.

        1. Yes to the spoiler! But I'm tempted to say (and the Mrs DID say) that 2 was better than 1.
Whatever. It was very, very entertaining.

  4. Local boy Brett Graves came off the 60-day DL two games ago, and today came out of the pen to pick up the last out in a 10-4 loss to the Orioles -- he got his cup of coffee, and an official ERA now.
