In a mostly lost season, the boys seem to be moving in the right direction of late. July was their first winning month (14-13), and they are now at 9-6 for August. 17-4 at home since the beginning of July (albeit with that schedule loaded with Bal, KC, Tampa, Pitt, and Detroit, with a spritz of Cle).
It's nice to see Sano and Polanco looking like they did last year.
Whenever the Pirates are the free mlb TV game, I'm always reminded about how glad I am for the stadium sounds option and that the Twins went with Marney.

I made baked beans in the instant pot today and holy crap were they delicious.
That sounds pretty awesome. I’m guessing I’m the only one in my family who would eat them, but I may do it anyway. They can make their own side dishes if they don’t like it.

In 3 games since coming off the minor league DL, Buxton is 7-for-16 with 3 doubles and a home run. Barring injury, I'm guessing he still won't get recalled until September when rosters expand.
Honestly, I don't even have a problem with it at this point. He's still not playing back-to-back games yet, and I'd rather him be ready for next year than to try to push it this year and screw up something long term.
Mariners beat the Dodgers tonight on a walkoff balk. I wonder how often that's happened?
